Pavement Engineering

Edge Geotechnical can provide you with pavement thickness design services for roads and carparks using the latest engineering software.

Pavement types can include fully flexible, semi-bound, bound and lime stabilised layers, asphalt and interlocking block pavers, and non-standard materials.  Any vehicle type can be considered.

We can also offer you thickness design for haul roads subject to very high haul truck axle wheel loads.  We utilise our fully licensed commercially available industry standard software to undertake pavement design in accordance with either Austroads 2012 or Austroads 2017 methods.

We can provide you with design services for permeable pavements, including water sensitive urban design (WSUD) components and buried modules.

In addition to design services, Edge can provide you with independent verification services if you have already completed pavement design in-house.
